Why did you choose the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program?
The small size of the program was a factor. It permits ample opportunities for hands-on experience and access to one’s mentors/teachers. These are important to me as a learner. As a regional and community hospital, PBRMC offers the experience of service at frontline and the exposure to a wide variety of pathologies one will commonly encounter as a physician in any community.

What impacts do you hope to have on the medical field?
My hope is to contribute to building healthy communities and bridging disparities in healthcare.
