Dr. Benjamin Kaplan attended medical school at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is currently in his second year in the role of Peer-Selected Resident/Fellow Forum Leader and an active voting member of the HES Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC).
Dr. Kaplan was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and his hobbies include playing piano and cooking.
Why did you choose the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program?
When I interviewed with the faculty, everyone was very nice and my school (ARCOM) was associated with Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center so I had heard great things about the program.
What impacts do you hope to have on the medical field?
Dr. Kaplan hopes to serve his patients in a guideline orientation fashion so that they will have the best data driven therapy.
