Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center participates in ERAS and the NRMP number is 2335140C1. Our program accepts applications through ERAS September 27 – December 1. We will interview approximately 10 candidates for each available position (n=6) for a total of 60 interviews. Only complete applications will be considered for interview selection. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis as determined by the Program Director; no communication is necessary to request an exception. Complete and submit your residency application using the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is planning virtual interviews at this time. Those selected to interview will be contacted by email. If invited to interview, our Program Coordinator will provide a link to ThalamusGME wherein you can self-schedule your interview day with us. Should you need to reschedule, please feel free to do so at your leisure up to a week prior to your scheduled date. To be respectful of everyone’s time, we cannot reschedule interviews that are less than a week away.

Matched applicants will receive an email to the address listed in the ERAS application. This email will include important information regarding onboarding and orientation. Onboarding will occur in New Innovations using a checklist with each step given a deadline. Please adhere to the deadlines to assure your training starts on July 1.
Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center hosts a one-week orientation the last week of June. Specific dates and details will be provided following Match Day.
